The five most important factors that affect your credit report and credit scores
Credit scores are calculated from a lot of different credit data in your credit report. This data is grouped into five categories:
*35% of your credit score is based on your payment history for the accounts with or without outstanding balances
•30% of your credit score is based on your Amounts Owed total outstanding debt
•15% of your credit score is based on your length of credit history on your accounts and the length of time each consumer has been in the credit bureau
•10% of your credit score is based on your New Credit Accounts Added to your credit history
10% of your Credit Score is based on your types of Credit accounts Added to your Credit History
•10% of your credit score is based on your typed of credit accounts
